Lisa is a kind, warm-hearted person. She not only takes the time to put her patients first, but she also puts the education of the staff first to maintain an amazingly safe environment for her residents. Her hard work and kindness show when her residents are asking for her personally. She's never afraid to take the time to listen to them and talk to them about anything. She also gets to know the family members of each resident so they feel comfortable as well. Lisa is always going above and beyond for her residents and coworkers and she always wears her heart on her sleeve.
There was a resident recently who was passing and she went out of her way to ensure it was peaceful. The family was so appreciative and asked if there was a way to show their appreciation. I am nominating Lisa on their behalf because she put them first, above her own needs, and made sure it was as easy as possible for both the patient and the family.
