I am very much impressed with the WellStar Paulding Hospital building and staff. One staff member, in particular, is Cathy Martin in ICU.
My son was admitted with an extremely low sodium level. Cathy came into the room and wrote my phone number down on the board. I asked for a pen and paper and she provided it for me. Later, she brought some linens into the room and prepared a bed for me on the cot. She and her co-worker cared for my son all through the night which, as it turned out, was their last night to work for the week. On her first day off, which was a rainy Friday morning, she stopped by the hospital to check on my son and to bring me a sandwich and drink from outside the hospital. It was one of my favorites- Chick-fil-a. Thank you, Cathy, for all you did!
