I came to the infusion center with my Uncle who was receiving his treatment for the very first time. As you can imagine, it was overwhelming. When we arrived, Traci came over and made sure my Uncle was comfortable and went over everything with him. Every step of the way, she explained everything that she was doing in full detail as well as explaining it in terms he was able to understand.
We were there the entire day - as a matter of fact, we were the last ones to leave that night. Traci came over throughout the day to check on him, see how he was feeling, asked if he needed anything and did everything she could to make this process as comfortable as possible.
Too often we take the time to complain but not say thank you - you did a great job! Today, I would like to take the time to say Thank You Traci, you did a great job and I appreciate how comfortable you made my Uncle feel. She really went above and beyond her nursing duties to make him feel like it was just another day and not his first day of treatment. She made him laugh a lot and this is really important!
So, thank you Traci - I just wanted you to know that we appreciate you!
