On the 2 South floor, Caleb Humphrey has modeled professional mannerisms and consistently kind heart. He quietly demonstrates his work ethic, which I believe to be one of his most admirable characteristics. Having witnessed the advocate he is to patients with an unbiased countenance, I suppose he surprised me with his enduring patience. Personally, I have seen him time and time again be sincere with great sensitivity as a caregiver. He demonstrates excellence leadership by first holding himself to a high standard. He is dedicated and compassionate to not just the patients, but all those around him and under his guidance. As a mentor, he expects nothing more of you than he does of himself and encourages you to reach your goals. At times when he is busy, I've watched him drop what he was doing to relieve another or to simply take on the current demands of the floor. His special attention to detail, insightfulness, and care are clearly evident when talking with staff concerning employee schedules. I would like to thank him for everything that he does and all that he inspires in me as a future nurse.
