My Uncle passed away recently. Mary was the nurse that came on duty the morning he passed away. My Uncle struggled all night, he was in the process of dying.

When Mary came on, she was immediately aware of the situation and what needed to be done. She took control of the situation and within the hour, my Uncle was in much less distress. Mary has a heart of gold. She was so knowledgeable and compassionate. Not only with my uncle, but with the relatives as well. She explained what was happening and did everything she could for all involved to make the transition from life easier.

I feel that Mary is the definition of what a nurse should be. Kind, compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable...my list could go on and on. I was very impressed with Mary and she is definitely fulfilling her calling in life. I am so thankful that she was with us during my Uncle's passing and I just can't find enough words to tell you what a wondering representation of Mayo-Franciscan Mary is.
