When my family met this young man, it was during my mother's initial arrival to her room and the assessment was completed. Adam displayed compassion, patience, understanding, love, and humility. It was such a pleasure knowing that he was her nurse and we were not worried about our Mom because we knew he would take good care of her. The family is really impressed with him because he left a mark on our hearts.

We are from the Portsmouth community and Maryview has changed, and things are really, really great. The nursing staff on the entire 5th floor, both the North and the South side, are the best you can find anywhere. Adam is the man! He is an incredible nurse and stands out as being #1 among the very best. He makes you feel like nothing else matters when he is caring for my mother. He never appears rushed, or over-burdened, and is always pleasant. He is always calm, respectful, professional. It is clear that he loves his work and cares deeply about his patients.
