Maria is an absolutely amazing nurse. She supports her patients and their family and her staff of all types - physicians, nurses, techs, secretaries. She consistently stays late to ensure her staff and patients have the support they need to discharge or transfer safely. As we begin to open the new prep and hold area for the cardiac cath lab, she is actively involved in ensuring the new area has the supplies it needs to be safe and effective as well as the staff, knows their expectations to make the transition smooth and enjoyable. Without Maria, the cath lab prep and hold would not be as productive and helpful as it is today. She created an environment for the staff of support and teamwork. Maria is the reason I and all of our Prep and Hold staff love what we do.
