Lisa provided me and my family with extraordinary care during one of our most difficult life experiences. From the 1st night I arrived and found out I needed an emergency C-section, and through the days of recovery afterward, Lisa was always there when we needed ANYTHING! She was extremely knowledgable, attentive, empathetic, and went above and beyond to make my recovery and 1st days as a new parent as easy as possible for me.

Lisa cared for our new daughter. She is such a compassionate nurse and her clinical excellence sets her apart. She cared for both mother and father even though she was not our nurse. Lisa is a thorough and hard worker. She treated us like part of her own family and cared for our sweet daughter as if she was her own.

I had a more traumatic birth than I was expecting. Lisa assured me she would say with me even past her shift if I hadn't yet had my baby. I was in extraordinary pain and Lisa did everything possible to help me. I felt so safe and supported and appreciated how she brought my husband into the fold to support me too. Lisa encouraged me to journal/write down my birth story to help me process the traumatic nature of the event and I am incredibly appreciative of that advice (which I followed). B will be 6 months old tomorrow and we are happy and healthy. I am so grateful for the incredible experience I had on WAC and that makes me even more proud to work at SPH. Thank you. I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful presence in the foundation of my family - I will never forget the experience!
