I took over care for a 92-year-old patient that Lindsay had cared for. I entered the room to find a vase of roses, a cake, and cards sitting at the bedside for this patient. He told me that Lindsay went to the store and picked these things up for him to give to his wife for their 69th wedding anniversary. She picked out a card from him to give to his wife and then also had a card passed around our unit for everyone to sign for them. She did all of this secretly without anyone knowing and without wanting any recognition.
This is just one example of how she goes above and beyond for her patients. Lindsay brings so much positivity to our workplace and deserves all the recognition in the world.
