Sometimes caring for the ones, we love can be harder than caring for strangers, but Kristin Woody rose to the challenge. One of her best friends became a patient in the Labor & Delivery room, Ms. Woody stood by her side, holding her hand and giving her the strength to persevere. Although Ms. Woody attests that, standing next to the person that nominated her was one of the hardest things she has had to do as a nurse.
