I just wanted to share my experience and the experience of our surgical team with one of your nursing staff. Soojeong Kang has been a knowledgeable, proactive, and thorough nurse for 7T. She has been exemplary in patient care with many patients commenting on her skills and personal connection. Soojeong has been an integral part of the care team in providing safe care for the patients researching medications and interactions, looking up lab results and following up with the lab if there is a delay, communicating with other specialties to update team/patient/family members on upcoming tests and procedures. Her assessments of patients are always correct, thorough, and often brought with proposed intervention when a problem arises. She thinks clinically and is very thoughtful and exact in her work. Soojeong is a wonderful example of a surgical nurse and a great resource for both 7T and Emory as a whole.

Nurse Soojeong Kang, in Inpatient Care, was phenomenal. Employing Nurse Kang was an outstanding decision. What can I say? Nurse Kang is the epitome of medical care. She was constantly checking on me; assuring me that I was in good hands. I felt that I was in a 5-star hotel. If you were in need of clones, Nurse Kang would be the template. I am speechless in describing her professionalism. Nurse Soojeong Kang must also be commended for her service.
