Ashleigh went above and beyond for her patient who was confused and supposed to be driving somewhere near her home. Police brought her to the ER with no known family contacts. The patient was hours away from her home unaware of her current situation. Ashleigh took the time to care for the patient, but also investigated further information to get in contact with the family. After using the white pages, the daughter answered and was frantic to find out her mother was so far away from home. Ashleigh coordinated with the family to come to pick up the patient and keep her calm and safe while in the hospital. The family showed up later in the morning beyond thankful that her mother was in safe hands. The daughter repeatedly mentioned how great of a nurse Ashleigh is and how truly blessed the family was to have Ashleigh show up in their lives.
