Daniel was my mom's nurse several evenings during her stay at Riverside Rehab Hospital. He was very compassionate and caring. He had to catheterize mom several times and was very gentle with her. When she tried to get out of the bed on her own to go to the bathroom days later, Daniel knelt down beside her bed to explain to her (looking eye to eye) why she has to press the call button to get his help when she needed to go to the restroom. At 330 in the morning, Daniel called me to let me know he was sending mom to Riverside Regional Medical Center. He assured me her vitals were good but she wouldn't obey his verbal commands even though her eyes were open. I appreciate his care for my mom as she had a seizure and couldn't respond to him. He didn't let her lay there; he was proactive in getting her checked out.
Daniel was always: kind, gentle, caring, good with explanations to family, and patient proactive. From the large to the small things like asking if I needed something when I walked to the desk and getting ice water for her when she was put on free water.
Daniel is such an asset to your facility.
