I recently underwent foot surgery and when I arrived in PACU I was in excruciating pain. The nurse caring for me was Cindy and she immediately assessed my condition and repositioned me. After administering all of the meds she was allowed to give me, she began calling the anesthesiologist regarding my pain. She displayed so much calmness, kindness, and care to me during my most vulnerable and emotional time of need. She communicated with great skill and expertise the need for an additional nerve block. She listened to me as a patient and I believe that God sent the right nurse to me at the right time. Cindy was able to make a huge difference in my experience at your hospital. By the time I had left the recovery room, my pain was no longer at such a high level. Cindy was my unsung hero!
