Mya Jemison really cares and is an advocate for the patients we serve. Many of our patients experience fear and anxiety because they are unfamiliar with the dialysis process. However, Mya often goes above and beyond to make sure our patients are supported in every capacity. She takes time to explain the various dialysis options to our patients and provide that additional support to the families as well. Dialysis is a life-changing experience not only for the patient but the family as well. Patients often speak of Mya's care and compassion. It has made all the difference in the lives of our patients and family. Mya routinely comes in to help her teammates when acute treatment volume surges beyond expectations. We believe she willingly does this because she knows we give life to patients.
