Erica was given a true gift to have the ability to care for others in a deeply profound way.
Erica is an extraordinary nurse and gives 110% to her patients and team. At the beginning of the pandemic, Erica volunteered to be charge nurse for all Covid positive shifts. She worked every single Covid shift without hesitation and had a profound impact on the patients she served. She ensured that all of our patients in the greater Boston area had access to care when they needed it the most.
Over the summer of 2020, she graciously agreed to go to another clinic for a 2-month assignment to work 3, 16-hour shifts/week as a charge while they were in an extremely short-staffing situation. She did this without hesitation and the feedback from leadership and the team was that she provided superior patient care. Just like in her own clinic, the patients were routinely heard saying, “I am so glad Erica is here today!” and “I really hope Erica is my nurse today!” Erica was given a true gift to have the ability to care for others in a deeply profound way and our patients are fortunate to have such a fierce advocate for them.
