Andrew's professionalism was top-notch and has a wonderful bedside manner with the patient that you just do not get to see or experience much anymore.
What can you say about Andrew but Thank You From My Heart for everything you did for us! Your compassion and honest caring show to us your true calling in the medical field. You are there for the patient. We were advised by one of my husband's specialists to get him to the ER at PVH due to the proximity of our home for evaluation. We had approached his PCP as well as several others in the medical profession, only to be basically told they could not treat him. He has several chronic diseases that the symptoms of several things hit all at once.
Upon arrival to PVH, Andrews was one of many on the scene and one that was definitely part of his care the entire time in the ER. His professionalism was top-notch and has a wonderful bedside manner with the patient that you just do not get to see or experience much anymore. He made the patient feel comfortable and took the time to actually listen to the patient. He took everything seriously. He took time to go above and beyond to see that the patient’s words did not go unheard. As my husband has been told many times by nursing staff, "Tell us how you really feel and what's going on. You know your body better than we do," - thank you for listening. Thank you for taking the time to go that extra mile above and beyond... to hear the patient's cry for help and giving him hope again in this health care system. You earned his utmost respect and may God continue to bless you and your gift.
