Judy has been nominated by her peers and staff for her countless contributions to patient care over the span of her 44-year career as a registered nurse. These include promoting the use of evidence-based practice through the shared governance model, implementation of BCMA, development of a face-to-face staff and leader peer review process, supporting the development of a BDRT response, and providing executive nursing leadership for numerous expansion projects. Referred to as the 'Nurse’s Nurse,' Judy consistently has gone above and beyond, ensuring that patients remain at the center of our care. Judy’s clinical expertise, compassion, team approach, patience, empathy, and humanistic touch has created and empowered nursing staff to care for patients as individuals by placing their safety and emotional wellbeing at the forefront. Judy leads by example, supporting many community service initiatives and encouraging others to give back to those vulnerable populations in our community.
