Janie talked to me and calmed me down and then proceeded to troubleshoot the problem with my ileostomy.
I cannot say enough about how Janie made my day and helped me so much with my ileostomy. I had come into the hospital for a COVID test for another procedure, but my ileostomy was leaking. I went to my physician's office and they gave me a number of a nurse to call in the hospital that could help me. I called Janie and she immediately made arrangements to meet me at my physician's office. She was there in seconds with supplies and everything she needed to help. Janie talked to me and calmed me down and then proceeded to troubleshoot the problem with my ileostomy. Janie explained everything she was doing to make sure I understood and felt comfortable. Janie turned my day around and gave me confidence back and encouraged me not to give up. Janie provided a high quality of care and she listened to me and my concerns. I don't know what I would have done without her.
