Right away I was impressed with Larrena's bedside manner.
After a long 4 hour surgery and anxiously waiting for nearly another 1.5hours while our daughter was in recovery, we were finally escorted to our daughter’s bedside around 8 pm to find Larrena caring for our daughter. Right away I was impressed with Larrena's bedside manner. She was attentive and informative. She cared for our anxious and hungry 14-year-old daughter with compassion. She was patient and gentle. Myself being an RN, you know a great nurse when you see one. We are so very grateful for the care Larrena provided our daughter. Even our very groggy (& hungry) daughter remembers how amazing she was. I’m sure if she could have given her the cheeseburger she wanted she would have even been more amazing! Lol - So Larrena thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. Having you by our daughter’s bedside as she awoke from heavy sedation was very reassuring. Keep displaying those compassionate nursing skills and touching the lives you come in contact with!
