At a time when my daughter was in pain and not sure of the diagnosis, Chad was reassuring and went way beyond the usual care of a nurse.
Chad was extremely attentive to my daughter. He really listened to what she said and went out of his way to accommodate her. He constantly checked in with her and asked how she was doing. He was sympathetic and understanding. He explained everything he was doing or giving her way beyond any nurse I have ever seen. As the patient’s mother, I was impressed that he showed us CT results and anything else on the computer and explained whatever he was able to. He was not only attentive to my daughter, but to me and my husband as well by bringing us drinks and seeing that our needs were being met. He was the most empathetic nurse I have ever dealt with and I am 65. He kept us informed any time an order was sent up and explained what was coming up. At a time when my daughter was in pain and not sure of the diagnosis, Chad was reassuring and went way beyond the usual care of a nurse. He should be recognized as an outstanding nurse because he definitely fits the bill as an Extraordinary Nurse!
