Barb has always shown me and my wife such caring, concern, and compassion. She has always been kind and considerate no matter what type of day she is dealing with.
I cannot describe just one situation. Barbara Kraska was there from the very first. My husband has been through gamma knife treatments. On each occasion Barbara was amazing. She made both of us feel comfortable. She made us both understood the procedure and what to expect and most of all knew how scared we were. She is a very personable nurse and easy to talk to and that means a lot to us. My husband is contemplating one more gamma knife treatment if Barbara is his nurse.

It has been my great pleasure to have Barb take care of me 3 times now. She has always shown me and my wife such caring, concern, and compassion. She has always been kind and considerate no matter what type of day she is dealing with. I haven’t the words to express my gratitude nor thank her enough. I have truly been privileged to have her as my nurse. She makes me feel like I am not just another patient.
From the very beginning, Barbara was great. I walk a little slow, so she got a wheelchair. When I asked for a warm blanket it was right there. My wife told her I was always cold, so she put a few extra in my room to warm up. Offered one to my wife if she needed it. When the pain got too much and I could have something there was no delay. As soon as I could have a drink she got me what I wanted also asking my wife. When I finally am able to go home she is truly concerned I am all right. She has always made sure we are going the right way out of the basement because it is like a maze. I realize that I am not special but my wife and I are treated that way. I am sure she treats everyone the same which is why she is a true DAISY Nurse.
