April immediately dropped the bed back and hopped on a stool to do hard continuous compressions on my abdomen to help dislodge him and I could push him out.
April was personable and professional her entire time with us. She made the stay and the awkward moments more comfortable. However, the reason we want to recognize her is for the exceptional and fast actions she took when my delivery instantly turned into a medical emergency. My baby got stuck in my pelvis during delivery, cutting off his air for nearly a whole minute. She immediately dropped the bed back and hopped on a stool to do hard continuous compressions on my abdomen to help dislodge him and I could push him out. It was a terrifying experience and I could have lost my baby and we are so very grateful for RN April and the doctor who together saved his life. She was knowledgeable and quick into action and we cannot thank her enough. She was off shift before we could get the chance to thank her and hope this reaches her.
