During the resident council meeting, the Victory CLC Veterans began a discussion about Nurse Maribel Laughlin. Each telling a story or two about why Maribel is the "best nurse at the VA". It was soon decided that they would like to nominate Maribel for The DAISY Award.

"Maribel is the nicest staff member and is always pleasant."

"Maribel pays attention to me."

"Maribel shows that she cares and will do anything for us."

"Maribel takes care of us."

"Maribel goes above and beyond for us."

"Maribel listens to our complaints."

"Maribel makes sure that we are okay."

The comments continued to praise Maribel. The Veterans and staff know that they are very grateful to have Maribel on the Victory CLC.
