Having a Micropreemie is terrifying in itself, but Ms. Lora made our family feel welcomed and safe knowing when mommy and daddy could not be there that our son was well taken care of. Every day while under her care, she called me personally to give me updates on my child. Not only did she do that but I had wound complications after my C-section and she showed concern and empathy for me as well! She honored EVERY wish we had as a family and was so valuable when it came to educating my husband and me as first-time parents about caring for our preemie. She helped us understand what his specific needs were and oftentimes even before doctors could recognize a problem or when he was ready for his "next step". She took it upon herself to make sure things were taken care of and never let her shift end without making sure he was taken care of. She is not only an EXTRAORDINARY NURSE but a wonderful person.
