My mom was in a serious MVA. Thankfully, she was taken to Eskenazi and the incredible health care providers here. Julee was her first nurse on the unit. She was working 5 days straight and had Mom for more than a day when she was transferred to another floor. Julee stopped in to see how Mom was doing since she had deteriorated medically. The next day, Mom was overjoyed to have Julee again for a few days AND again after her weekend off. She has cared for Mom for most of her 12 days in the hospital. WE are very blessed she was assigned to Mom. She is always quick to suggest solutions to pain, discomfort, and quick to message the doctors. She is empathetic, gentle, and thorough. Always taking the extra step, she even brought Mom a special nutritious treat since she was not eating well due to a poor appetite after her accident and surgery. She cares for my mom as she would her own and I greatly appreciate her. Her clinical care has expediated Mom's recovery so she can head to rehabilitation. She is a true DAISY Nurse and the daisy is also my mom's favorite flower!
