Imogen was the nurse who admitted me onto the ward and instantly reassured me despite how worried I was about the treatment I was about to start. I am immunosuppressed due to Lupus and have a complex medical history but Imogen took the time to understand what support and care I needed personally rather than going straight in with ‘yet another patient’. She continued to care for me on a number of night shifts and I felt instantly calmer when she came back on to shift. She was friendly and assured me of what she was doing which made me feel safe. The way she dealt with other patients on the ward - often quite difficult! - was also exemplary. Imogen is a fantastic nurse and a credit to your team.
