Crystal recently cared for a patient and his wife who were covid positive. When the patient was ready to be discharged, there wasn't anyone who was able to give the patient or his spouse a ride home. Crystal attempted to reach out to anyone who knew the patient and cab services without success. Crystal took this patient and his wife (after her 12-hour shift) to the pharmacy to get their prescriptions, spoke with the Walmart pharmacy so that the patient did not have to go into Walmart to get his prescriptions, and then drove the patient and wife home obtaining his medicines. Crystal even reported that she wore her respirator when driving the patient home and received some funny looks while the windows were down.
