Sara has been with DaVita for almost 3 years. During that time she has grown from being a new floor nurse to a high-functioning clinical coordinator. Sara has taken a progressively more active role in all of the patient and clinical outcomes management at Pella, as well as being a strong leader for her team on the clinic floor. She is an advocate for her patients and their overall quality of life—DQI for Pella is consistently in the top 20% of DaVita, and in 2021 there were 8 ICHDPD conversions, which is a huge accomplishment on a census of 30. Sara brings a positive attitude to the clinic each day—L has been in dialysis for many years, and often describes Sara as “the best RN that I’ve worked with.” She wants to learn and has the ability to take that back and share it with other RNs.
