There are too many situations to choose from when it comes to meeting patient and staff needs. Gwen is always stepping out to assist patients and staff. She donates food, clothing, and money to those who are in need. Gwen is always going above and beyond. She is a Clinical Ladder IV nurse for the last several years and is always encouraging staff to improve their knowledge base to better assist and serve our patients' and families’ needs. We all call her “Mama” because she cares so much. Patients have even been heard to call her “Mama” as well. It is something when patients call for a concern and they ask to speak with “Mama.” She is a truly caring person - through and through. I am proud to call her my friend.
