This nurse is one of the best nurses I have worked with! When it comes to team work, she is the first to step up. She is the first person on the unit in the morning (0430!), 5 days a week. She prepares the unit, most charts and stations for all the nurses. She never hesitates to step in and help prepare a patient for surgery even when we are not really busy. This nurse is always pleasant and talkative with her patients. She explains the plan of care and calms the patient. She is efficient and her skills are phenomenal. She can start impossible IVs on the first attempt. Patient comfort and awesome holistic care is her standard specialty. This nurse is the best team mate and always helps, even when we are short and she is in pain due to ailments that are awaiting treatment. I have nursed for over 20 years in multiple states and I have to say this RN wins the best team player nurse award! Bluntly speaking: This girl will break a sweat working hard to help her fellow nurses and unit work efficiently and greatly, producing pride, respect and patient satisfaction!
