Edzel received recognition from two of his teammates. They felt that Edzel met all of the following criteria: Goes Above and Beyond, Makes Special Connections, and Serves as a Role Model:

"Edzel has been a role model since I first started on the floor two years ago. He always goes above and beyond to support the team, whether that's by staying late to help with the overflow, or picking up shifts to take the stress off of the unit. I look up to him when I think of ways to grow as a friend and as a nurse."

"Edzel goes above and beyond. He gives positive vibes to all and makes the floor very happy."
