Basically, I had a very fast labor and delivery. Our baby came into the world with pulmonary hypertension. Our nurse, April, was an absolute angel! She was calm, cool, and collected. This was comforting to me during a really scary time! April gave my baby and me the absolute best care! Also, April shared that she had experienced caring for another infant who had pulmonary hypertension. Even if April was nervous for us at the moment, given our situation, we never knew! She explained everything so professionally and kept us informed and calm the entire time. She deserves so much more than this award, but I would be so thankful if she were recognized for being such a hero!
