All the nurses at Beaumont Hospital in Taylor were amazing! From the nurses to the nurse assistants, they all did their jobs with excellence. There is a nurse who went above job requirements. His name is Hussain. I have been struggling with a wound that would not heal and also with cellulitis. I have had this issue since January 2022. I have gone through many doctors to figure out how this wound can be treated. I have had three surgeries and had to be admitted to the hospital twice. Hussain went out of his way to find someone who could help me with this wound. Hussain saw how frustrated I was and went out of his way to find a wound care nurse to examine the wound and come up with a plan to have a wound vac for me to have while at the hospital and a service that offered wound vacs to take home. I know that nurses have had a rough time during Covid19, and caring for other illnesses, but Hussain took out time for me when he had other patients that he was taking care of. He made that time for me and cared enough to do it. I am so grateful for how he treated me with dignity and with a compassionate heart. He took out the time to help me and that is why I believe he is a true DAISY Nurse.
