She was so warm, caring, and understanding of my fears. She was so empathetic to my feelings and was a huge help.
On a Saturday, I went to Banner University Medical Center Outpatient Infusion Center for my first shot of Prolia. I had been on Forteo for two years. I was rather nervous and downright scared about the Prolia.

Then I met a great nurse by the name of Elise. I told her I was freezing, probably due to my nerves and she offered me a warm blanket and reassured me that I would be okay and that she would walk me through the entire process leading up to the shot, during the shot, and after the shot. She did just that and then some.

She was so warm, caring, and understanding of my fears. She in no way belittled me or made me feel ashamed of being afraid. She continued to explain everything that was happening and was going to happen. She was so empathetic to my feelings and was a huge help.

I was so afraid before I met Elise that I really wanted to bail and not get the Prolia. I may have done just that had it not been for the kindness of Elise.
As she explained all that was going to happen, she allowed me to ask any and many questions, answering all of them with continued caring and patience.

Thanks to a wonderful nurse I was able to overcome my fears and take the Prolia. She checked on me while I waited for thirty minutes to pass before she could let me go home. I did great and it was a week ago yesterday that I got the Prolia and have had zero problems.

Thanks to Elise I am able to confidently continue my journey to restoring my bone density.
I am truly grateful to Elise and feel she is an asset to the nursing profession.

Thank you, Elise, and please know what a tremendous difference you made in my life. My bones thank you as well! It was a very pleasant experience and everybody I encountered that day at the Infusion Center was also terrific. Thank you all.
