I recently had elective surgery. I was to be in and out on the same day. Things did not go as planned. I ended up being admitted as an observation patient. This is where I met Lori. She was so kind, very attentive, took her time, and treated me with kindness and patience. My blood pressure kept dropping. I told Lori that something wasn’t right. Lori immediately began doing and calling everybody possible. I ended up having emergency surgery to correct the issues. If it wasn’t for Lori’s quick reaction and listening to me this would not have been such a great outcome. Lori, I can’t thank you enough for everything that you did for me and for utilizing your great critical care thinking skills. I will never forget you, and in my eyes, you are an absolute angel. Lori went above and beyond her duties and showed true compassion for me. She remained very calm during this time, and I felt very safe in her care. This angel is a true DAISY Nurse.
