Jodi Simmons joined our team almost one year ago. She accepted a position as director of nurse practice and within the first few months stepped in as interim CNO to assist while our CNO was out. She willingly took on the extra work and has been such an inspiration to so many. SJCM has faced many dark hours over the last few years and I truly believe Jodi has made an incredible difference in every aspect. She has brought so much knowledge and positivity to our organization. She has very quickly become someone all associates from every department feel comfortable with. She inspires, motivates, and challenges us to be extraordinary every day. Jodi took on an enormous task and is one of the biggest reasons we are seeing recovery within our organization. Her leadership is what we should all strive to be. I honestly don't know if she understands the positive impact she has made at SJMC. She is a true DAISY Nurse Leader.
