Dani is a Bright Star for BJC and 14500! Helping my husband, she worked efficiently and constantly for his comfort. Cleaning him, his bed, and his chair due to his accidents with BM and urine. Always with a smile and kindness. At one point Dani saw that he was in distress and immediately reported it to his doctors who entered the room within minutes. Dani followed the doctors' order to get the needed oxygen on him ASAP. What teamwork! This RN walks with a determined gait always ready to help us, her co-workers, and anyone who needs help; even visitors. She never complained once all day and is always up on things offering a pillow for my husband’s legs or finding an extra blanket when he was cold.

When the protein drink, NEPRO, did not come on his tray, Dani made sure he got one. She took care to watch his oxygen and ensured it was always on his face and head correctly. Dani never left the room without asking if we needed something else. At the end of our day, we thanked her, and she said, “I’m always here for you!” It’s so comforting to have someone who has your back, has compassion, is a great employee, and really loves her job. Thank you, Dani!
