Hannah is a NICU nurse by trade but she does not stop there. Hannah is a NICU, nursery, and Post-Partum nurse. She is always the first one to jump up for assistance and offer help even when she might not have time to. She is always willing to learn and teach others on the unit. I have only got to work with Hannah for a few months but in that time I have felt the compassion she radiates especially in patient rooms. She wants the best for her patients and honestly everyone. For example, one night we had two deliveries and she was the baby nurse, so she needed to attend those deliveries to catch and assess the babies. We also had two border babies in the nursery, one more complicated than the other. In between deliveries she came to the nursery to see if we needed assistance and helped in any way she could. We worked together as a team to collaborate on the babies' care. Hannah is truly just a ray of sunshine, and I know that sunshine touches every patient she encounters. I think Hannah is the definition of a DAISY Nurse.
