Our dad came to the ED after a fall at home. We were expecting to go home that night, but dad ended up being admitted to the 5th floor so the doctors could look into what caused the fall. We were so fortunate to have Torie Bell assigned as our RN. Torie was so compassionate and kind to both of our parents. Being in a hospital is a scary and uncertain experience for the patient and family, but Torie gave us a sense of comfort and security to know that dad was receiving excellent care.

While in the hospital, dad and mom celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. It wasn’t the way they expected to celebrate, but Torie went above and beyond to make it special! She made a “Happy 58th Anniversary” sign for the wall, brought dad and mom matching water cups, and shared in the celebration with cupcakes. They were so appreciative of her kindness. She truly treats her patients as “family” and was a shining star during his hospital stay.
