Tiffini spent much of her afternoon with us at the home explaining hospice, cares needed, medication, and being a support for our family.
My Grandpa was admitted to the hospital and after several days as a family, we decided to take him home on hospice care. He had one request to be at home in his bed. Avera @ Home-Hospice made this possible for him. Tiffini, RN was at the house when my Grandpa arrived via ambulance and immediately stepped into action. Tiffini spent much of her afternoon with us at the home explaining hospice, cares needed, medication, and being a support for our family. Tiffini took the time to go over medications with some family members that were very uncomfortable and unfamiliar with medications. Also, Tiffini knew that my Grandpa was getting medication for pain at the hospital and it wasn't prescribed for home use. She called, received an order, and delivered the medication a few hours later to make him comfortable. Her goal was to make him as comfortable as possible even if she needed to move mountains.

At the time of my Grandpa’s passing Tiffini was called and was at the house in less than 15 minutes. Tiffini came into the home and started giving support and compassion right away. Tiffini stayed at the home for quite sometime after the funeral home left the house to provide additional support. As a family, we could not have asked for a better hospice nurse to care for our loved one. I would like to nominate Tiffini for the unconditional support and compassion she gave our family while we emotionally and physically exhausted. Also, Thank You so much for your excellent care, Tiffini.
