I don't have just one story to share because Tessa was incredible the whole time I was in her care. We met her on our first night in recovery after my c-section back at the end of August and were thrilled when she was our nurse the next night, too. She not only provided me with excellent, compassionate care, but she regularly recognized my husband's efforts and reminded us of what a great team we are. She was supportive through my most vulnerable moments and never made me feel rushed or ashamed for needing help. She sat with me in the dark (both literally and figuratively!) so I could speak without judgment, and truly made me feel heard and understood. With all the emotion and uncertainty that comes with postpartum recovery, especially with an unexpected NICU stay, I truly felt like the universe blessed us with her when we needed her most. In just the span of two nights, she made a lasting impression on myself and my husband and we really do appreciate her.
