Ciara Minion is an amazing nurse and a beautiful soul inside and out. I came to know Ciara over the past few years as we worked together in the PCU; she was a PCU nurse and I was a Physician Assistant. What stood out most about Ciara was not only her devotion to her patients but her utter compassion. She is a true patient advocate. When Ciara is taking care of one of my patients, I know I don't have to worry about missing something. She will always notify me in a timely fashion of any significant change in the patient's status. ​ ​I have also seen Ciara on countless occasions go above and beyond for her patients, colleagues, and other staff members.

When my daughter got ill at school and was brought to the emergency room, Ciara was by her side even before I could make it there. When my family was going through a difficult time, Ciara showed up to support the family. She not only gave her time to help with the kids, she even spent her own money to take the kids out to cheer them up. I cannot say enough about Ciara. Mayo Clinic, our patients, and all of us are lucky to have Ciara Minion as a member of our team.
