My nurse, Katrina, was very attentive to me. I greatly appreciated her kindness and understanding of my condition. Her TLC was amazing. She explained to me the steps of her care to me. She encouraged me to be open and honest about my pain so that it could be managed. Her bedside manner was to the moon and back. Katrina checked on me and made sure that I was comfortable. While waiting for discharge papers, she referred me to the hospital video concerning a healthy diet and explained that I needed to take the extra step of checking/testing my blood sugar daily. Honestly, I’ve never taken that seriously but now I am. I really thank God for Katrina and wish there were more caring and attentive nurses like her.
