Okay, where do we begin? This nurse, Emily, is the absolute bomb!!! (Good Bomb) Unfortunately, I have endured many stays in different hospitals and seen many nurses and doctors. She is so caring, sweet and calming, and most importantly competent. When I was needing pain meds for severe pain, I would anticipate having to call her, but she showed up on time to the minute every time. Unbelievable. And doing all that while having other patients too. Every time she entered the room, the first words out of her mouth were "How are you doing?", not I'm here to give you your meds, or take your vitals, etc. That made me feel truly "cared" for, not just treated, but cared for. Made me feel so good.

I had very complex issues with surgery, pain, adrenal crisis, hypertension, etc. After a week in the hospital, the only night my husband felt safe leaving my side was when Emily was working. He knew I would be well cared for and if any issues medically came up, she was extremely capable to handle. Above her sweet caring bedside manner is her high level of competence. Cannot say enough about her or thank her enough.
