My journey has been ongoing for a couple of years now. Throughout this process, Kristen has always shown me excellent care and concern. She has continually coordinated appointments and called me with genuine concern and words of encouragement. She spent time with me while I was getting treatments and infusions informing me of things I could do to improve my therapy. I just cannot say enough about her. She is always so positive and uplifting which I have come to feel is far above her duties. I know nurses go into the field to care for and show compassion for patients, but I have never encountered one that shows that level of compassion as Kristen. She is always so helpful and makes me feel special, not just as a patient but as a person. She truly is a DAISY Nurse.

As a footnote, all the staff at the Cancer Center have shown me much kindness and concern. I feel very fortunate that my journey has been with the “Mayo System”.
