Lorrie is a true team player and is consistently available to assist clinicians in the field (even if the need is after working hours). She assists home care staff with difficult lab sticks, foley insertion, PICC line care, etc... all while performing her own responsibilities! Lorrie is kind and compassionate and loved by her patients and co-workers! Her passion for patient care and her EXCELLENT nursing skills make her a valuable asset to our OHRH Home Care team.

Years ago, I had to call Lorrie in the evening "on call" hours and she left her home to come to the patient's house to assist, teach and make sure the patient received the needed care in an appropriate time! Thank you Lorrie for being a mentor, leader, and most of all--for keeping the patient's needs FIRST and being willing to share your years of experience with newer nurses. You make our patients happier, our department better, and our nurses better prepared for whatever may await them in the wild and wonderful world of Home Care! We appreciate you!!
