Just her professionalism in getting the job done was very impressive and I expressed this to her - to which she readily replied "I love my job" with a huge smile on her face.
I cannot begin to thank Theresa enough for her helpful care. She walked in with a big hello and was very cheerful. I could HEAR her (I'm a nurse's worst patient being hearing impaired). She ensured as to what I might need, went about distributing medication, and listened to my concerns. Within a few moments, she had me lined up with a visit from my gastroenterologist and orthopedic physicians. Both came to see me today at the hospital. My broken hand was seen by an orthopedic doctor and an x-ray was ordered and done. A visit from the gastroenterologist to discuss my ailment and how to proceed. Theresa also ordered a phlebotomist who came and cleaned up my arm and put in a new port by using ultrasound. It was such a blessing. In the beginning, she notified the hospital doctor on duty today of the doctors I had wanted to see. The doctor must have come by to see me and made calls to my son, so he could be my second pair of ears. Just her professionalism in getting the job done was very impressive and I expressed this to her - to which she readily replied "I love my job" with a huge smile on her face. That made me feel like I was in very competent hands, and could count on her good care. All of this was done swiftly with her actions or a few questions. Before I was distraught over not feeling well and how everything - by 2 pm all my requests were taken care of. My mood was so much better. I can deal with whatever I needed to face. Believe me, bedside manners make a great difference to a hospital patient - and you see it just took action in an efficient amount of time to get accomplished. Thank you, Theresa!
