I am a wife of a former patient. My husband had been transported 7 hours from our home. It was so hard to have him that far away. Abby was there once he arrived, and she called to let me know and put me to ease feeling that he was in such good hands. Each day whether it was myself or my daughter checking in, she took her time explaining how he was doing and what was happening with his care. I loved hearing how my husband would start to joke with her- such a wonderful step for him. It started appearing that it was time for him to come home she was an advocate for him and knew it was best to get him home. She nailed it.

Abby made all of our experience at Aurora Medical Center much less traumatic with her knowledge, kindness, and pure acts of care. We are so grateful that she was there for the most precious member of our family, my husband, our kid's father, our grandchildren's grandfather, and his sibling's brother.
