I was having a procedure done on my left leg by the doctor and his team, and they all treated me with respect and were really nice to me. The one thing that really surprised me was that Mary Jane saw that I was a little tense, my right hand was holding on to something next to the bed. Mary Jane came over and held my hand which in turn, I became completely relaxed and easily got through the procedure. I thought this was a very high level of patient care and concern for the patient. This is why I feel Mary Jane is a DAISY Nurse. My decision is based on my being a hospital corpsman in the navy, and taking care of thousands of patients who were injured during the Vietnam war.
